#FREE Making Him Mine August 1, 2 and 3rd

As a thank you for all of your support, encouragement and patience as I prepare to re-release all of my backlist books, Making Him Mine (Man Stealer) will be #free for three days on Amazon. This isn’t my normal type of story, but it’s a story that begged to be told. Making Him Mine was inspired by an actual letter I received from a woman–the other woman in an affair–(an affair she ensured would happen). These are HER words, HER version of events–not mine. Names, dates and places have been changed to protect the innocent. But are any of them truly “innocent”? You decide.

No other man had ever been so kind to her. Don’s eyes were the color of the finest chocolate and she felt herself fall into them whenever he looked at her. His voice was as smooth as black silk, caressing her body with his words. He was her destiny.

J.B. would stop at nothing to get the man of her dreams. She changed her entire life to be the woman he would want. She’d love him until his last breath. But would he love her back? Or would he see through her games and stay with the woman he’d already given his heart to?

The first time I set eyes on Sheila, I almost lost my nerve to carry out my plans. She truly was beautiful. Sheila’s hair was like I’d always wished for mine to be. She had gorgeous curls, no frizz and it was the shade of a golden sunset. Partnered with her green eyes, Sheila resembled a Goddess. She wore jeans and a cute red wool jacket to ward off the chilly March morning. And her legs seemed to go all the way to her neck. Compared to my short, stumpy legs, I felt more than inferior next to her. Her skin was aglow with love for Don and her eyes filled with tears as they said their goodbyes. I almost felt bad for what I was about to do. Almost.
No one had come with me for the big ‘send-off’, so as we waited to depart for the airport, I stayed away from the crowd. After a while, the tears and sappiness made me sick.  I watched as Sheila wept like a baby. How could a grown woman be so clingy? I knew she’d be so pissed when she didn’t hear from her husband for days at a time. That’d be enough to send her over the edge. I knew her type. It wouldn’t take long before she grew suspicious and upset.
“Babe, you don’t have anything to worry about. The only woman who will be there is J.B. and she’s fat and ugly.”

I knew I wasn’t supposed to overhear such an intimate conversation, but I’d been gifted with exceptional hearing and sometimes, it was a curse. What Don had said hurt me at first. Then, I realized, he’d only said it to his wife to ease her worrying mind. I knew he could never think of me as ‘fat and ugly’. He wanted me, I felt it with every bone in my body.

Be sure to grab your copy this weekend…August 1-3. You’ll find extras for my upcoming re-releases inside.

Happy Reading <3

Writing “Tripe” and Why I Did It:

Many of you have been wondering what on Earth possessed me to write Banged In The Bayou. Some of you are just now seeing the pictures and ads and I’m sure you’re quite surprised or even confused. Well, the truth is I wrote it over two years ago. Last year, it was free on Smashwords and had over 700 downloads. Since it has been exclusively on Amazon for the past week, I’ve had more sales of this crazy, humorous…NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, monster sex, #erotichorror book than I have in an entire month with my other six books with my former publisher.

Yes, it’s a short story. No, it really doesn’t have any merit other than to be entertained with some monster smut. And that is why I wrote this “tripe”. Because I wanted to. Because I can. For entertainment. To give people a laugh. And other than this man in the #UK, it’s been greatly received.

Amazon UK Review

**WARNING: 18+ FICTION! Erotic Horror. Contains hardcore, descriptive language, adult content and should not be read by anyone without a sense of humor. This is a work of my imagination and any similarity to anyone who has indeed had sex with a swamp monster is purely coincidental. No swamp monsters, crocodiles, raccoons, plants, snakes or spiders were harmed in the making of this book. The contents herein are FICTION and suitable for adults ONLY. Preferably adults who have wild imaginations.

A first hand account of what happened one sultry day in Louisiana. On her way to the Gulf of Mexico for some sunbathing, Rosie Peaks’ car broke down. Stranded in Cajun country, she was desperate, dehydrated and lost in the deep swamps. Rosie had no idea what or who awaited her beneath the Cyprus trees. This is the story of her sexual encounter with something she never expected to meet and can’t wait to meet again.**

Let’s be honest here. Does the title, cover and description scream anything other than erotica? Granted, last year when this man reviewed the book, it was much shorter. But it wasn’t meant to be the next, “Great American Novel”. To tell the truth, I LOVE that he referred to this as “tripe and rubbish”. I managed to get a rise out of someone and that’s fine with me.

But let’s take a look at what other readers had to say. Here’s the link to three other reviews:

And here’s a video review: ( I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS REVIEW!)
Bob’s Books Banged In The Bayou

Quite a few readers have found the humor in this story. And I greatly appreciate each and every reader’s opinion. For anyone to take the time to read any of my books AND to leave a review–is great.

Maybe the entertainment value doesn’t translate well. Maybe it’s a cultural divide. Or maybe, just maybe it is indeed tripe and rubbish. Either way, Rosie Peaks has hit the short story> horror> erotica list a few times this past week according to Amazon and it’s bounced up and down around the rankings. So, there are people out there who enjoy #erotichorror and to me…it’s fabulous. I’ll never judge someone based on what they read. As long as you’re reading something–I applaud you.

So, to all of you who have taken a chance on my newest, crazy story–THANK YOU. I appreciate each and every one of you.  For those who haven’t checked it out, Banged In The Bayou is still only 99 cents and #free for prime members. If you read it and like it, great. If not, that’s okay, too. Monster sex isn’t for everyone.

Thanks for stopping by,
